RAIN Source Capital
Rain Source Capital got its start in July 1998 as the Minnesota Investment Network Corporation, with initial capitalization from a quasi-state agency in Minnesota. The organization increasingly gained the interest and support of institutional investors and foundations, and led to expanding opportunities beyond its initial geographic focus of Minnesota. In early 2006, we became RAIN Source Capital, with a focus on developing RAIN funds in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Oregon, Idaho, and Washington, with ongoing interest coming from other states.
— Steve Mercil, President and CEO of RAIN Source Capital
As of 2008, the RAIN fund network has invested more than $25 million in 48 companies. To learn more about RAIN Source Capital, visit www.RAINsourcecapital.com.
